Clovis feeder cattle report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 1,400 head March 26, according to the USDA to New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, individual 275 lbs., 148.00; few 300 to 400 lbs., 139.00 to 140.00; 400 to 500 lbs., 129.00 to 135.00; package 535 lbs., 123.00; 550 to 600 lbs., 107.50 to 110.25; 600 to 700 lbs., 101.00 to 106.75; few 700 to 800 lbs., 97.00 to 101.00; package 860 lbs., 91.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, lot 443 lbs., 133.50; few 450 to 500 lbs., 124.00 to 130.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 107.50 to 115.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 100.00 to 106.00; 700 to 800 lbs., 96.50 to 99.50; 800 to 850 lbs., 90.50 to 95.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 88.10 to 88.25. Medium and large frame 2, package 345 lbs., 126.00; 400 to 500 lbs., 113.00 to 124.00; package 554 lbs., 104.50; package 746 lbs., 90.00.

Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 300 to 350 lbs., 108.00 to 109.00; 400 to 500 lbs., 100.00 to 110.50; 500 to 600 lbs., 98.00 to 100.50; 600 to 700 lbs., 95.00 to 98.75. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 400 to 450 lbs., 98.00 to 105.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 96.00 to 102.50; lot 632 lbs., 98.00; package 805 lbs., 84.75. Medium and large frame 2, few 500 to 600 lbs., 94.00 to 97.50; package 706 lbs., 90.50.
