Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 530 head March 19, compared to 2,115 head last week and 1,678 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady. Demand was good on all classes. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were thin to medium. The supply included 59% heifers and 12% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 426 lbs., 126.00; 7 head, 486 to 488 lbs., 121.00 to 122.00 (121.71); 14 head, 524 to 545 lbs., 120.00 to 125.00 (120.79); 11 head, 553 to 576 lbs., 119.00 to 122.00 (120.12); 5 head, 602 lbs., 112.00. Medium and large frame 2, 7 head, 354 to 387 lbs., 112.00 to 119.00 (115.85); 6 head, 423 to 437 lbs., 115.00 to 121.00 (117.95); 12 head, 453 to 461 lbs., 112.00 to 121.00 (116.54); 8 head, 562 to 590 lbs., 113.50. Feeder bulls: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 379 lbs., 127.00; 7 head, 464 lbs., 115.00; 5 head, 572 lbs., 119.00. Medium and large frame 2, 10 head, 430 to 443 lbs., 110.00 to 112.00 (111.01).
