Watertown cattle sales

The South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,980 head Feb. 27, compared to 1,200 head last week, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Compared to last week, feeder cattle under 600 pounds were steady to $2 higher. Feeders over 600 pounds were $1 to $2 lower. Feeder steers made up 42% of the run, feeder heifers made up 58%, with 92% over 600 pounds.
