Pratt 3 p.m cattle salesThe Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., Feb. 28, reported estimated receipts of 5,000 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, feeder steers at 600 to 1000 pounds were $1 to $3 lower on early sales, and feeder heifers at 600 to 950 pounds were steady to $1 higher. Feeder steers and heifers at 300 to 600 pounds were not established as of 3 p.m. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 28 head, 636 lbs., 115.00; 37 head, 685 lbs., 109.50; 700 to 750 lbs., 102.50 to 104.85; 750 to 800 lbs., 102.85 to 104.10; 800 to 850 lbs., 98.00 to 101.10; 850 to 900 lbs., 95.60 to 98.00; 8 head, 919 lbs., 94.00; 60 head, 960 lbs., 91.00.
