Woodward livestock sales reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 9,815 head March 15, compared to 9,991 head last week and 7,133 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady to $1 lower, except those at 950 pounds were $2 lower. Feeder heifers were steady to $2 lower. Stocker steers were $1 to $2 higher. Steer calves were $2 lower in a limited test. Heifer calves were steady to $2 lower. Demand was moderate to good for all classes. Fill was average to full, few was gaunt. The supply included 57% steers, 41% heifers with 87% over 600 pounds.
