Tree pruning clinic open to public

Colorado

Dwight Anderson, Colorado Master Gardener volunteer for Colorado State University Extension in Morgan County is hosting a hands-on tree pruning clinic open to the public. The clinic will be held at Pettey's Park in Brush beginning at 10 a.m., March 29. Anyone interested in learning the best pruning techniques is welcome to attend. Bring clean pruning tools and dress for the weather.

Anderson, a 2008 Colorado Master Gardener volunteer will have completed 60 hours of training on a variety of horticulture topics from CSU instructors as part of the requirements to become a Colorado Master Gardener. In addition to the training hours, Anderson and other Colorado Master Gardener volunteers will give 50 hours of volunteer time to the community, educating area residents on researched based horticulture topics.
