High Plains slaughter news

High Plains weighted average direct slaughter cattle sales for the week ending March 16, totaled 167,224 head, compared to 134,450 head last week and 1888,886 head last year according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.

The report was based on sales in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Minnesota feedlots.
