3i Show High School Ag Career Day announcedKansas Each year, Western Kansas Manufacturers Association, sponsor of the annual 3i SHOW, works in conjunction with the hosting community to offer high school students an opportunity to learn about careers in agriculture. High School Ag Career Day will be held this year May 8, with registration at 9 a.m., in the National Guard Armory and will conclude at 11:30 a.m., with a complimentary lunch. This year's High School Ag Career Day is being coordinated by Steve Pottorff and his fellow staff members at Barton County Community College. Agricultural industry experts will discuss careers and technology involving crop protection application, feed yard operation, precision agriculture and agricultural equipment development and testing. High school students and their parents, ag teachers, school counselors, and extension agents are invited to attend.
