Watertown cattle sales reportThe South Dakota Livestock Sales, Watertown, S.D., reported receipts of 1,270 head March 12, compared to 2,030 head last week and 2,030 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D. Feeder steers and heifers were steady. Feeder steers made up 50% of the sale, feeder heifers made up remaining 50%, with 88% of the offerings over 600 pounds.
