UW offers private pesticide applicator license workshopsWyoming A series of pesticide applicator training workshops for those seeking a private applicator license is this month in Lincoln, Sublette and Teton counties sponsored by the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service. Applicators who use restricted-use pesticides are required to hold a pesticide applicator license. Private pesticide applicators are those who use restricted pesticides for their own use on their own property, said Eric Peterson, UW CES educator in Lincoln, Sublette, Sweetwater, Teton and Uinta counties. The two-hour workshops will cover pesticide laws and regulations, safety, labeling, proper use and disposal and equipment calibration. Those seeking a license only need to attend one of the workshops. Each workshop is 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The schedule and locations include: March 18--Big Piney, Sublette County Library, 106 South Fish St. March 19--Pinedale, Sublette County UW CES office, 621 S.
