St. Joseph feeder pigs

The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 135 head March 11, compared to 82 head last week and 181 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo.

Compared to last week, feeder pigs sold mostly steady on comparable weights. Offerings and demand were light. Prices paid per head on actual weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: lot 36 lbs., 13.00; lot 57 lbs., 12.00; lot 65 lbs., 17.00; 2 packages 85 to 87 lbs., 20.00.
