Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., March 13, reported estimated receipts of 5,100 head,, according t the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, feeder steers, not enough sales for a market trend at this time. Feeder heifers 600 to 750 pounds were steady, 750 to 850 pounds were $2 lower, 850 to 950 pounds were steady. Feeder steers and heifers 300 to 600 pounds not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 12 head, 628 lbs., 107.50; 23 head, 651 lbs., 104.50; 24 head, 759 lbs., 100.75; 5 head, 801 lbs., 95.50; 60 head, 945 lbs., 86.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 600 to 650 lbs., 98.50 to 99.75; 650 to 700 lbs., 94.00 to 97.75; 700 to 750 lbs., 93.85 to 97.85; 750 to 800 lbs., 89.50 to 92.85; 800 to 850 lbs., 88.00 to 90.50; 64 head, 867 lbs., 90.00; 900 to 950 lbs., 86.00 to 87.35.
