High Plains slaughter news

High Pains weighted average direct slaughter cattle sales for the week ending March 9, totaled 134,450 head, compared to 184,109 head last week and 192,193 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.

The report was based on information provided by Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Minnesota feedlots.
