A new tool for you

By Holly Martin

In farm country, land doesn't change hands all that often. And when it does, you certainly don't want to miss out because you didn't hear it was up for sale. We also know you want to keep abreast of land values, even if you aren't buying.

High Plains/Midwest Ag Journal has launched Land Journal, a new multi-media tool, to make the lives of our readers just a little bit easier.

In the center of this edition, you will find a printed insert that is the inaugural edition of Land Journal. The color pages show real estate of interest to farmers and ranchers of the High Plains and Midwest.

A complement to the printed version of Land Journal is a website by the same name: www.LandJournal.com.

The site offers listings of properties all across the country. And to help you sort through and find exactly what you are looking for, the listings are searchable. You can sort by state, county, number of acres, price range and type of property.

The www.LandJournal.com website has a number of useful tools available for you, including an auction calendar, loan calculater and many, many photos of the properties for sale.

Watch for the printed version of Land Journal the third week of every month in your issue of High Plains/Midwest Ag Journal.

We hope you find it a useful tool and just one more way that we are serving the needs of farmers and ranchers.
