Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 750 head March 5, compared to 1,750 head last week and 2,089 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $2 lower. Demand was moderate to good on all classes. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 47% heifers and 33% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 9 head, 409 lbs., 130.50; 15 head, 478 lbs., 127.50; 512 to 544 lbs., 121.00 to 127.50 (126.70); 3 head, 552 lbs., 117.50; 15 head, 627 to 646 lbs., 108.50 to 109.00 (108.60); 15 head, 700 to 710 lbs., 100.00 to 103.00 (101.07); 9 head, 803 lbs., 94.00; 11 head, 892 lbs., 90.50.
