Tulsa livestock sales reportThe Tulsa Stockyards, Tulsa, Okla., reported receipts of 1,113 head March 3, compared to 1,741 head last week and 2,187 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were steady to $2 lower. Steer and heifer calves were steady. Demand was moderate to good for all classes. Weigh-ups average to full. The supply included 39% steers, 47% heifers, 15% bulls and 29% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. A total of 139 cows and bulls sold with 60% going to packers.
