South Central direct sheepThe South Central Direct Sheep report for the week ending Feb. 29, showed receipts of 100 slaughter lambs, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas. Compared to last week, feeder lamb trade was at a standstill. There were no compared on slaughter lambs. There were no slaughter ewes. Replacement ewes were not tested. There were no slaughter meat goats. Slaughter lambs: Texas, 100 head, Choice 2 to 3, 140 lbs., club lambs 80.00.
