Texhoma livestock sales reportThe Texhoma Livestock Auction Texhoma, Okla., reported receipts of 826 head June 4, compared to 276 head last week and 380 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder cattle and calves not well tested. Demand was moderate to good for all classes. Weigh-ups were average. The supply included 38% steers, 46% heifers with 14% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bulls were steady. A large offering of pairs out of the drought area. A total of 388 cows and bulls sold with 32% going to packers. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 373 lbs., 136.00; 7 head, 400 lbs., 130.00; 11 head, 528 lbs., 125.50.
