Springfield livestock sales report

The Springfield Livestock Marketing Center, Springfield, Mo., reported receipts of 1,368 head May 28, compared to 2,480 head last week and 1,805 head last year, according to the Missouri Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News Service, Jefferson City, Mo.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold $2 to $5 higher with Holstein steers selling fully $2 to $3 higher on a light holiday to week offering.
