Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan., reported estimated receipts of 2,300 head June 5 as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with last week, steers at 700 to 1,000 pounds were $1 to $2 higher, heifers at 750 to 950 pounds were steady to firm in a limited supply of Medium and large frame No. 1 steers, 700 pounds and under, and heifers 750 pounds and under, were not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 19 head, 699 lbs., 113.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 112.00 to 115.00; 750 to 800 lbs., 112.10 to 112.60; 800 to 850 lbs., 110.75 to 112.75; 86 head, thin 817 to 818 lbs., 113.75 to 114.00; 850 to 900 lbs., 108.85 to 111.25; 900 to 950 lbs., 104.50 to 107.25; 59 head, thin 905 lbs., 109.35; 54 head, 961 lbs., 105.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 37 head, 763 lbs., 106.10; 800 to 850 lbs., 102.00 to 105.00; 23 head, 867 lbs., 101.25; 11 head, 918 lbs., 98.00.
