Ogallala cattle sales

The Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Neb., June 18, reported receipts of 800 head, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb.

There was no comparison to last week, due to no feeder sale. Steers accounted for 64% and heifers 36% of the offering, with 87% over 600 pounds.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 9 head, 429 lbs., 129.00; 17 head, 528 lbs., 125.00; 669 to 672 lbs., 110.50 to 116.00 (114.27); 719 to 725 lbs., 114.00 to 115.00 (114.75); 33 head, 783 lbs., 112.25; 811 to 827 lbs., 105.00 to 108.75 (107.30); 26 head, 881 lbs., 106.50; 217 head, 918 lbs., 109.25.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 16 head, 457 lbs., 115.00; 551 to 575 lbs., 109.00 to 113.50 (112.64); 602 to 641 lbs., 108.00 to 111.50 (109.70); 7 head, 678 lbs., 108.50; 711 to 746 lbs., 105.50 to 110.00 (108.95). Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 5 head, 709 lbs., 102.50; 10 head, 812 lbs., 98.00.
