Ogallala cattle salesThe Ogallala Livestock Auction Market, Ogallala, Neb., June 18, reported receipts of 800 head, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb. There was no comparison to last week, due to no feeder sale. Steers accounted for 64% and heifers 36% of the offering, with 87% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 9 head, 429 lbs., 129.00; 17 head, 528 lbs., 125.00; 669 to 672 lbs., 110.50 to 116.00 (114.27); 719 to 725 lbs., 114.00 to 115.00 (114.75); 33 head, 783 lbs., 112.25; 811 to 827 lbs., 105.00 to 108.75 (107.30); 26 head, 881 lbs., 106.50; 217 head, 918 lbs., 109.25.
