Ada livestock sales report

The Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 1,100 head June 18, compared to 1,060 head last week and 652 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers were $1 to $2 lower, heifers were steady to $1 higher. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 44% heifers and 46% over 600 pounds.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 8 head, 327 lbs., 136.00; 11 head, 355 to 368 lbs., 129.00 to 131.00 (130.28); 11 head, 438 to 441 lbs., 120.00; 11 head, 450 to 461 lbs., 115.00 to 120.00 (117.76); 511 to 542 lbs., 108.50 to 119.50 (111.98); 19 head, 564 to 590 lbs., 105.00 fleshy; 605 to 625 lbs., 105.00 to 107.50 (105.87); 13 head, 655 to 693 lbs., 103.75 to 104.00 (103.82); 17 head, 661 to 696 lbs., 100.00 to 102.00 (100.97) fleshy; 7 head, 703 to 730 lbs., 103.50 to 104.50 (103.94); 10 head, 723 to 726 lbs., 100.00 to 101.00 (100.40) fleshy; 755 to 778 lbs., 102.15 to 104.00 (103.21); 12 head, 832 to 843 lbs., 100.75 to 102.00 (101.37).
