Tulsa livestock sales reportThe Tulsa Stockyards, Tulsa, Okla., reported receipts of 1,816 head June 16, compared to 2,419 head last week and 1,845 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, all classes of cattle were steady to $3 lower with a light test of feeder steers and heifers. Weigh-ups were average to full. Demand for all classes of cattle was moderate to good. The supply included 43% steers, 40% heifers, 16% bulls and 29% over 600 pounds. Slaughter cows and bull were steady. Packer demand was good. A total of 298 cows and bulls sold with 45% going to packers.
