Sim-Influenced cattle have new marketing option

SimList, a free commercial marketing listing option is now available at www.simchoice.net.

This new opportunity is driven primarily by the beef industry's increased demand for Sim-Influenced cattle and encourages producers to post commercial replacement females and feeder cattle they might offer for sale either today or in the future. Anyone can be listed as the official contact for representing the cattle and SimList is available to producers regardless of the system or outlet they plan to use to market them.

Currently SimList can be found by simply clicking on the SimChoice logo on ASA's website www.simmental.org , or directly at www.simchoice.net. For more information contact Marty Ropp, ASA's director of field services/commercial programs at 406-581-7835.

The American Simmental Association is headquartered in Bozeman, Mont., and maintains the breed registries for the Simmental and Simbrah breeds of cattle. ASA has an active adult and junior membership of nearly 8,000.
