Clovis cattle sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., June 18, reported estimated receipts of 1,300 head, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last week, feeder steers were $3 to $6 lower. Heifers under 500 pounds were $1 lower, over 500 pounds were steady to $1 higher.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, packages 307 to 311 lb. weaned 140.00 to 143.00; package 502 lbs., 113.50; package 620 lbs., 109.50; 700 to 800 lbs., 103.00 to 107.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, package 297 lbs., 134.00; package 372 lbs., 127.00; lot 385 lb. weaned 135.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 105.00 to 110.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 105.00 to 108.00. Medium and large frame 2, 200 to 300 lbs., 133.00 to 147.00; 300 to 400 lb. weaned 116.00 to 123.00; few 511 to 586 lbs., 101.00 to 105.00; package 722 lbs., 102.00; lot 801 lbs., 100.00.

Heifers: Medium and large frame 1, package 360 lbs., 112.50; 400 to 500 lbs., 100.00 to 107.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 99.00 to 103.00; 600 to 650 lbs., 98.50 to 105.50; 650 to 700 lbs., 94.00 to 99.50; package 817 lbs., 89.75. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 450 to 500 lbs., 100.50 to 104.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 98.00 to 100.50; few 600 to 700 lbs., 103.00 to 105.00. Medium and large frame 2, 200 to 300 lbs., 105.50 to 111.00; 300 to 400 lb. weaned 104.00 to 111.00; few 600 to 650 lbs., 95.00 to 98.00.
