Weld County Tornado Fund organized after May 22 tornado

Colorado

The Colorado Ag Disaster Fund is seeking donations to assist the farmers and ranchers hit by the recent tornados in Weld County. Donations will lend a hand to farmers and ranchers as they pick up the pieces in the aftermath of the tornados. Building materials, fencing supplies and other items are immediately needed.

Please support those affected by sending a tax deductible donation to: Colorado Ag Disaster Fund: Weld County Tornado Fund, 9177 East Mineral Circle, Centennial, CO 80122.

For more information, please contact Troy Bredenkamp, 303-749-7501 or e-mail tbredenkamp@colofb.com.

The Fund was established in 2007 after back-to-back blizzards devastated southeastern Colorado. The fund raised more than $750,000 in donations that helped farmers and ranchers hit by the blizzards. The fundraiser also established the Colorado Ag Disaster Fund, so the agricultural community would be ready to react in the face of another disaster.
