Sioux Falls feeder pigs

The Sioux Falls feeder pig auction, Sioux Falls, S.D., reported receipts of 115 head May 27, compared to 137 head last week and 758 head last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

Compared to last sale feeder pigs at 50 to 60 pounds sold $2 higher on a light test. Buyer attendance was moderate with moderate demand.

U.S. 1 to 2: 50 to 52 lbs., 35.00 to 40.00 (39.40); 56 to 58 lbs., 35.00 to 38.00 (37.04); 29 head, 76 lbs., 46.00.
