Lexington cattle salesThe Lexington Livestock Market, Lexington, Neb., reported receipts of 1,440 head April 25, compared to 1,150 head last week, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb. There was no comparison to last week, due to too few comparable offerings. The offering included 64% steers and 36% heifers, with 72% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 7 head, 432 lbs., 127.50; 451 to 463 lbs., 120.00 to 130.00 (128.05); 508 to 523 lbs., 117.50 to 127.25 (125.93); 10 head, 550 to 567 lbs., 107.50 to 114.00 (110.80); 603 to 643 lbs., 107.50 to 115.50 (112.78); 659 to 678 lbs., 114.85 to 115.50 (114.97); 712 to 744 lbs., 105.00 to 109.00 (107.70); 11 head, 763 lbs., 105.00; 806 to 835 lbs., 105.50 to 106.00 (105.87).
