Dodge City livestock sales reportDodge City, Winter Livestock, Inc., reported receipts of 2,023 May 21, compared to 3,705 last week, and 3,481 last year, according to the USDA-Kansas Department of Agriculture Market News Service, Dodge City, Kan. Compared with last week, steers 300 to 900 pounds were steady in a very limited supply, heifers, 300 to 700 pounds were firm in a very limited supply; 700 to 950 pounds were steady. Slaughter cows and bulls were $2 to 3 higher. Receipts included 71% 600 pounds and over; 17% 600 pounds and under; 5% cow-calf pairs and 7% slaughter cows and bulls with 151 head early. Feeder supply 42% steers and 58% heifers.
