Clovis livestock sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 2,000 head May 28, according to the USDA-News Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $2 to $3 higher.

Steers: Medium and large frame 1, few 200 to 300 lbs., 142.00 to 150.00; packages 308 to 358 lbs., 136.00 to 140.00; few 405 to 425 lbs., 123.00 to 125.00; 500 to 600 lbs., 117.00 to 126.00; packages 640 to 648 lbs., 114.00; few 700 to 750 lbs., 111.00 to 113.00; lot 838 lbs., 101.50. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, package 262 lbs., weaned 155.00; 300 to 400 lbs., weaned 128.00 to 138.50, package 400 lbs., 124.00; few 550 to 600 lbs., 118.00 to 120.00; 600 to 700 lbs., 107.00 to 114.50; packages 712 to 760 lbs., 111.50 to 114.00. Medium and large frame 2, individual 345 lbs., 136.00; 400 to 500 lbs., weaned 111.00 to 121.50; 500 to 600 lbs., weaned 115.25 to 116.25; few 600 to 650 lbs., 110.00 to 113.00; individual 705 lbs., 107.00; package 850 lbs., 100.50.
