November sheep, goat conference plannedBy Michael Fisher Golden Plains Area Livestock Extension Agent Colorado A team of animal science faculty and Extension personnel from Colorado State University, Montana State University, South Dakota State University, North Dakota State University, the University of Nebraska, and the University of Wyoming are working together to develop a regional small ruminant conference. This program will provide up to date information on nutrition, grazing, reproductive health, marketing, and other facets of both sheep and goat production. The 2008 event is scheduled to be held at Island Grove Park in Greeley, Colo., on Nov. 14 and 15. Keep an eye out this summer for the upcoming list of speakers and registration information. Plan to attend this great and educational opportunity!
