NCC, PCG to host farm bill educational meetings in JuneNational Cotton Council staff will review key provisions of the new Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 in 45 educational meetings across the Cotton Belt in June. High Plains regional meetings are being conducted as part of the NCC's Southwest region rotation and will be co-hosted by Plains Cotton Growers, Inc. All of the High Plains meetings will be June 23 to 26. The presentations are aimed at providing the best available information on the new farm bill and will conclude with a question and answer period. Other industry and agribusiness representatives are invited to attend.
