Ada livestock sales reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 1,670 head June 5, compared to 725 head last week and 1,562 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder steers were steady to $1 higher. Feeder heifers were steady. Weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included 54% heifers and 28% over 600 pounds.
