St. Joseph feeder pigs

The St. Joseph feeder pig auction, St. Joseph, Mo., reported receipts of 100 head July 1, compared to 47 head last week and 234 head last year, according to the USDA-Missouri Department of Agriculture Market News, St. Joseph, Mo.

Due to limited receipts, no recent price comparison to test the market. Swine markets have been lower, following a bearish USDA Hogs and Pigs Report last week. Prices paid per head on actual weights.

U.S. 1 to 2: 45 to 55 lbs., 10.00.
