Faith cattle sales report

The Faith Livestock Commission Co., Faith, S.D., reported receipts of 250 head June 30, compare dot 374 head last week, according to the USDA to South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls, S.D.

No feeder market available for this weeks sale. Slaughter cows and bulls sold firm. Demand was very good with holiday approaching.

Slaughter cows: Breakers, 75 to 80% lean, 1260 to 1860 lbs., 58.75 to 63.00; low dressing, 55.00 to 59.00. Boners, 80 to 85% lean, 1245 to 1515 lbs., 58.50 to 63.00; high dressing, 62.25 to 64.75. Lean, 85 to 90% lean, 945 to 1370 lbs., 55.00 to 60.25; high dressing, 61.00 to 62.00; low dressing, 47.50 to 53.50.

Slaughter bulls: Yield grade 1 to 2, 1205 to 2620 lbs., 68.00 to 73.00; high dressing, 75.00 to 80.00; low dressing, 61.50 to 66.00.
