Colorado feeder cattle sales reportThe Colorado Auction Feeder Cattle Summary, Greeley, Colo., reported receipts of 681 head June 27, compared to 590 head last week, according to the USDA-Colorado Department of Agriculture Market News, Greeley, Colo. Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers sold mostly steady on light offerings. Demand was good in a very limited test. The supply was made up of 51% feeder steers, the balance was feeder heifers, with about 48% of total feeder supply was over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 390 lbs., 123.50; 435 to 440 lbs., 119.00 to 122.00; 485 to 490 lbs., 118.50 to 122.00; 525 lbs., 119.00; 605 to 650 lbs., 109.00 to 113.00; 790 lbs., 104.00; 860 lbs., 102.00. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 440 lbs., 107.00; 485 to 500 lbs., 100.00 to 105.00; 525 to 585 lbs., 102.00 to 113.00; 645 lbs., 105.00. Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 313 to 355 lbs., 107.00 to 121.00; 455 to 480 lbs., 103.00 to 106.00; 525 to 585 lbs., 101.00 to 108.00; 600 to 685 lbs., 98.00 to 105.00; 700 to 790 lbs., 96.00 to 101.50; 890 lbs., 92.00.
