Apache cattle sales report

Stockman's Livestock Inc., Apache, Okla., reported receipts of 2,665 head June 27, compared to 2,057 head last week and 1,372 head last year, according to the USDA-Oklahoma Department of Agriculture Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla.

Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were $2 to $3 higher. Steer calves were not well tested, heifer calves were $1 to $2 higher. Demand was moderate to good. The supply included 80% over 600 pounds and 47% heifers.
