Sioux Falls feeder pig salesThe Sioux Falls Feeder Pig Auction, Sioux Falls, S.D., reported receipts of 233 head July 22, compared to 1,467 last week and 1,036 last year, according to the USDA-South Dakota Department of Agriculture Market News, Sioux Falls. Due to a difference in receipts, larger number of buyers, plus the lower corn price, trends on feeder pigs were not applicable however, a definite higher undertone was noted. All sales based on actual weight and by the head. The next feeder pig sale will be Aug. 5.
