Cleveland County 4-H members win at district, state horse showsOklahoma The Cleveland County Trailblazers 4-H Club had several members that competed at the Southwest District Horse Show in Duncan, Oklahoma on June 5 to 7. Those attending were Kylie Stowers, Katelyn Moser, Leslie Annis, Nicole Miller and Betty-Jo Hulbert. Kylie Stowers won Reserve Grand Champion Gelding in halter with her horse Bar S Dun Kiddin and third place in the five year and under geldings halter class with her horse Titanic Obsession. Both horses qualified for the state competition. Katelyn Moser won second place and qualified for the state competition in the six year and older mares halter class with her horse Blondeobsession. Betty-Jo Hulbert received tenth place in western pleasure and qualified for the state competition with her horse Ayres. The State 4-H Horse Show was held in Shawnee, Oklahoma on June 19 to 21. Those attending from the Cleveland County Trailblazers 4-H Club were Kylie Stowers, Katelyn Moser and Betty-Jo Hulbert. Stowers won Grand Champion in the geldings six and over halter class and placed in the top ten in the geldings five and under halter class. Moser won Grand Champion in the mares six and over halter class. Kylie Stowers also participated in the State Horse Photography Contest held during the State Horse Show in Shawnee. She received a Grand Champion award for a photo she entered in the contest. 7/28/08 Date: 7/24/08
