Ada cattle auction reportThe Southern Oklahoma Livestock Auction, Ada, Okla., reported receipts of 1,275 head July 16, compared to 1,425 head last week and 2,053 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to last week, feeder cattle and calves were steady. Quality and weigh-ups were average. Flesh conditions were medium to fleshy. The supply included of 51% heifers and 62% over 600 pounds. Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 17 head, 358 to 375 lbs., 133.00 to 138.00 (137.04); 6 head, 409 to 430 lbs., 121.00 to 123.00 (121.35); 11 head, 563 to 587 lbs., 109.50 to 112.50 (110.72); 19 head, 610 to 637 lbs., 107.50 to 112.00 (111.24); 8 head, 661 to 664 lbs., 106.50 to 108.00 (107.25); 12 head, 706 lbs., 110.25; 5 head, 795 lbs., 106.00; 807 to 837 lbs., 104.00 to 106.00 (105.27). Medium and large frame 2, 9 head, 491 lbs., 111.00; 9 head, 703 to 707 lbs., 100.00. Feeder bulls: Medium and large frame 1, 5 head, 379 lbs., 134.00; 6 head, 572 to 577 lbs., 109.00 to 110.00 (109.50); 6 head, 638 to 642 lbs., 104.00 to 107.50 (105.76). Medium and large frame 2, 5 head, 523 to 538 lbs., 101.00 to 105.00 (103.43); 8 head, 709 to 719 lbs., 88.00 to 101.00 (94.45).
