Woodward livestock sales reportThe Woodward Livestock Auction, Woodward, Okla., reported receipts of 7,700 head July 11, compared to 4,633 head three weeks ago and 4,650 head last year, according to the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Oklahoma City, Okla. Compared to the last sale, feeder steers were $3 to $4.50 higher. Feeder heifers were $2 to $4.50 higher. Steer calves were steady. Heifer calves were steady to $2 higher. Demand was very good for feeders, good for calves. Fill was average. The supply included 66% steers, 30% heifers with 88% over 600 pounds.
