South Central direct sheepThe South Central Direct Sheep sales report for the week ending July 11, showed receipts of 1,700 feeder lambs and 100 slaughter ewes, according to the USDA-Texas Department of Agriculture Market News, San Angelo, Texas. Compared to two weeks ago, feeder lambs were steady to $3 lower. There were no recent comparisons on slaughter ewes. There were no slaughter lambs, replacement ewes or slaughter meat goats. Trading and demand were moderate. Feeder lambs: Texas, 1700 head, Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 50 to 65 lbs., 94.00 to 96.00; 65 to 90 lbs., 95.00 to 100.00.
