Lexington cattle sales

The Lexington Livestock Market, Lexington, Neb., reported receipts of 1,850 head July 11, according to the USDA-Nebraska Department of Agriculture Market News, Kearney, Neb.

There was no comparison to last week, due to no feeder sale. The offering included 82% steers and 18% heifers, with 97% over 600 pounds.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 11 head, 492 lbs., 118.00; 17 head, 502 to 525 lbs., 120.00 to 124.50 (123.68); 5 head, 624 lbs., 124.00: 651 to 696 lbs., 119.50 to 122.50 (120.72); 765 to 771 lbs., 118.00 to 121.50 (120.75); 801 to 826 lbs., 108.25 to 110.25 (109.70); 60 head, 856 lbs., 115.60; 131 head, 982 lbs., 110.50. Medium and large frame 1 to 2, 7 head, 682 lbs., 116.00; 720 to 740 lbs., 114.00 to 115.00 (114.88); 772 to 795 lbs., 115.75 to 116.75 (116.38); 54 head, 880 lbs., 109.00.
