High Plains slaughter news

High Plains weighted average direct slaughter cattle sales for the week ending July 14, showed receipts of 135,614 head, compared to 216,580 head last week and 188,483 head last year, according to the USDA Market News Service, St. Joseph, Mo.

The report was based on sales in Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, Iowa and Minnesota feedlots.
