Pratt 3 p.m. cattle sales

The Pratt Livestock Auction, Pratt, Kan, July 9, reported estimated receipts of 1,300 head as of 3 p.m., according to the Kansas Department of Agriculture-USDA Market News, Dodge City, Kan.

Compared with two weeks ago, steers at 500 to 750 pounds were not established, and 750 to 900 pounds were $2 to $3 higher. Heifers at 500 to 700 pounds were not enough for a test, and 700 to 850 pounds were $2 to $4 higher. Steers and heifers at 500 pounds and under were not established as of 3 p.m.

Feeder steers: Medium and large frame 1, 750 to 800 lbs., 112.75 to 115.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 113.75 to 114.10; 850 to 900 lbs., 110.60 to 114.00.

Feeder heifers: Medium and large frame 1, 17 head, 620 lbs., 112.00; 700 to 750 lbs., 105.50 to 107.85; 750 to 800 lbs., 105.00 to 107.75; 800 to 850 lbs., 105.75 to 107.00.
