Topsoil moisture rated 0 percent very short, 1 percent short, 62 percent adequate, and 37 percent surplus across the state. Corn condition rated 4 percent very poor, 11 percent poor, 32 percent fair, 43 percent good, and 10 percent excellent. Soybean planting is virtually complete. Soybeans are 92 percent emerged, which is 8 percentage points behind last year and the five-year average.
