Clovis cattle sales report

The Clovis Livestock Auction Co., Clovis, N.M., reported estimated receipts of 1,650 head July 9, according to the USDA-New Mexico Department of Agriculture Market News, Clovis, N.M.

Compared to last month Holstein special, steers were $5 to $7 lower on limited receipts.

Holstein steers: Large frame 3, 200 to 300 lbs., 68.00 to 79.00; 300 to 400 lbs., 68.00 to 78.50; 400 to 500 lbs., 70.00 to 77.00; load 507 lbs., 78.00; package 613 lbs., 68.00; lot 997 lbs., 62.25.
