Stock Show parade

Come meet the most magnificent creatures on earth. In addition to marching bands, floats, horseback riders and performing cowgirls and cowboys, you'll see a special exhibit of Texas Longhorn cattle being driven through downtown Denver.

Beginning at Union Station and meandering down 17th Street, the parade is an annual Stock Show tradition that kicks off the yearly Stock Show celebrations in Downtown. The parade is Jan. 15 at noon.

Don't miss out on the National Western Barbecue held in conjunction with the Downtown Parade. Beginning at 11:30 a.m. in the atrium of the Wells Fargo Building, visitors can listen to live music and catch a VIP western fashion show, all while eating some of the West's best barbecue. The Barbecue is open to the public and benefits the 4-H International Youth group; meal tickets are $8.
