Stick horse rodeoThis nationally acclaimed event, sponsored by The Children's Hospital, has been a huge hit and an annual Stock Show favorite. Who: Children, ages 3-6, become junior rodeo champions. In the arena, six different children perform in each of six different events, including bareback riding, bull riding, barrel racing, calf roping, steer wrestling and pole bending. Hats, chaps, stick horses and bulls are provided. Where: The Ames Construction Activity Tent located outside on the south side of the Expo Hall. Everyone is a winner! Grounds admission is $2 for children ages 3 to 11 on weekdays and $7 for adults 12 years and older. Admission is $3 for children 3 to 11 on Saturdays, Sundays and Martin Luther King Day and $9 for adults 12 years and older.
