Holiday slows hay movementIn Nebraska and the East River area of South Dakota, hay sales were fully steady to firm for all classes. Demand was mostly moderate to good for cow hay and very good for dairy quality alfalfa. Movement has increased as well as inquiry. Pellet sales were fully steady.
